Update #2 – Technical Specifications

The BLACKWATER project has been in the loop since late 2015. The design and technical specifications has been fine-tuned over and over again. With complex forms and high demands on functionality combined with a slim case for a diver watch of this caliber, our engineers have really been put to the test. All and all it’s a unique watch that will stand out whilst still sharing the same fundament as the First series, timeless design that never will go out of style.

Specifications:

Swiss made - The watches will be built by one of the most reputable Swiss manufacturers in the business, allowing us to really challenge the big players on the market.

Automatic? Yes! – The Swiss Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement with its 28.800 bph, 38-hour power reserve and hacking feature is a beautifully built machine that will make for a special feeling and become the first completely automatic movement in a Tusenö ever.

Lume, lume and more lume – We love lume in a diver. We decided to use the blue colored BGW9 Swiss Super-LumiNova instead of the brighter (and green) C3, because lets face it, blue looks better. Therefore we also decided to go crazy with the number of layers to make this a really bright one, you won’t be disappointed.

Limited and in good company – This will be a truly special version. Limited to 300 individually numbered pieces and made especially for a really good cause and a company close to our hearts. More information regarding this will be released later on.

Integrated beauty – We have always been suckers for integrated bracelets, so we just couldn’t help ourselves from creating our own. Certainly not the easiest thing to get right and a very long R&D period later the bracelet is now everything we wanted it to be and it will for sure make you stand out from the ordinary diver crowd.

300m/30ATM – Everything would be much easier for us if we had chosen to do the watches waterproof to 200m/20ATM, it all gets a little bit tricky after that. But we chose to go deeper, because sometimes you need to go down to 300m, right?

Domed. The sapphire that is - We love domed glass and just had to have it, no corners have been cut here and there is something magical with that domed glass.

Made for the extreme – This is a watch that’s made to be worn no matter what, no matter where. We have worked close with our engineers to make sure this watch will outstand whatever is thrown at it, this is especially important of reasons you will understand further ahead. Yes, it’s a diver in its core, but it will do just as well in a chopper. Hytrel gaskets make sure no amount of vibrations will lead to any screws being loosened.
