The Shellback GMT brings a new dimension to the Shellback family, combining its character with the functionality of a mechanical GMT.

While it shares the design language of the original Shellback, the GMT is an entirely new construction, with just about every single part reworked and developed specifically for this watch.

The result is a more compact, comfortable and refined Shellback, made for travelling without losing the visual character of the original.

The Shellback GMT comes in three different versions:

Green Linen
A deep green dial with a heavy linen texture that comes alive in the light. Combined with a two-tone green bezel and orange accents, it makes for a striking watch.

Blue Linen
Sharing the same heavy linen texture, Blue Linen brings an ocean blue dial together with red accents and a classic blue and red “Pepsi” bezel. A familiar combination with a distinctly Shellback character.

Frozen White
Far from an ordinary white dial, Frozen White features a silver-white dial with a frozen texture that shifts from a crisp silver to a warm creamy white depending on the light. Red accents and a blue and red “Pepsi” bezel complete the look.

A major focus of the GMT was making it noticeably slimmer and more comfortable on the wrist.

While keeping the same 39mm case and 47mm lug-to-lug measurement, it is now considerably slimmer at just 10.85mm excluding the sapphire crystal, while still featuring 200m water resistance.

Another important change to improve comfort is the much more aggressive taper of the bracelet, going from 20mm at the lugs to just 16mm at the clasp. Together with the thinner case, this gives the GMT a lighter and more balanced feel on the wrist.

At the heart of the Shellback GMT is the Swiss Made Sellita SW330-2 Elaboré, with approximately 56 hours of power reserve. The production movements will feature refined finishing and the Tusenö Guiding Light symbol etched on the rotor (not present on the sample versions).

Tougher Than the Rest
The original Shellback comes with our 1200 HV surface-hardening treatment on the clasp. For the GMT, we decided to extend the same treatment to all stainless steel parts of the watch, giving the entire construction increased resistance to everyday scratches and wear.

The bracelet also features a 9mm extension clasp, giving additional adjustment directly on the wrist.
