Introduced with the pre-order of Shellback back in August 2021 we are happy to announce that we are now adding both the tropic rubber strap and the nato strap to our, already large, selection of straps.
With the launch of Shellback we have decided to update the presentation material of Tusenö timepieces. Previously our watches came in a wooden box – which have been appreciated for storage and as an interior touch. But, for several reasons, we have now decided to make a change.
2020 was set out to become the biggest year in the Tusenö history. The goal was clear. All focus on automatic watches and continue the work towards becoming the best Swedish watch brand on the market.
Back in April, we prepared for our upcoming summer adventures (within the Swedish border due to COVID-19), with a small production of watch rolls. We wanted an easy and safe way of bringing all our different models when traveling.
In the summer of 2018, Tusenö launched the Blackwater SSRS Edition. 300 individually numbered watches were developed for the benefit of the Swedish Sea Rescue Society. The success was immediate and the watches sold out in just a couple of weeks.
Since the very beginning of Tusenö our goal have been to create the best watch possible at a great price. We prefer craftsmanship over mass production, timelessness over trend and the fact that you will meet very few people wearing the same watch as you.
Late 2015, after about a year and a half of designing the Tusenö First series we were not only successfully funded through crowdfunding but we also became the most funded watch brand from Sweden ever.
